Board of Directors

Chris Boyd, Board President
I am a lifelong member of the Diamond Park community. My great-grandfather, James C. Veen, built the family cottage on Euclid in 1933. I am the 4th generation of the Veen family to call Interlochen my summer home. I have many fond childhood (and grown-up) memories of swimming, canoeing, sailing, and fishing on Green Lake and the Betsie River watershed. Currently, I reside in the Grand Rapids, MI area where I am an elementary school social worker. I look forward to working with the board as a representative of the Diamond Park community to honor the past, build upon the present, and plan for a future that benefits all community members.

Pat Roggen, Board Vice President
Shady grove is where I park my heart and hat.
We bought property here in 2011. Finished our house in 2012, and my husband Lee lived here for a year until I retired in 2013 to move up permanently. We love it here because it's truly a magical place to be. In the summer there is the lake, the parks, the eagles(!!!), and of course Interlochen. Winter is snow-magic beautiful, but most of all we love the people and community of DPPOA.As a board member, I see my job as first and foremost preserving all of the beauty, friendship, and connection that we have in this area. I want to make sure that we maintain the past while moving into the future. There is a bright future for our parks and community events can continue to be a way to connect with everyone in the neighborhood. Protecting our past history while embracing the future by utilizing technology and resources available to us, will ensure that diamond Park continues to shine as the jewel it is.

Larry Smith, Board Secretary
I moved into Diamond Park in 1980, just before my first summer on the Arts Camp faculty. We love our beautiful view of South Park and Green Lake. I was an office administrator in a previous life, so my role as association secretary is a very natural one. Keeping records and people organized is what I do best!

Tracey Worden
I live on Shady Grove. My husband, Jonas, bought our home in 2009, and I moved into the neighborhood in 2010. My husband brought me into this neighborhood and I am forever thankful for that. When I moved into our home, I was lucky enough to not only have great neighbors but neighbors I happily call friends. I also feel blessed to live in an area that has such special beauty around it. My goal with being a board member has always been to be a part of improving our neighborhood. I am proud to be a part of numerous boards that have shared that goal and vision.

Tony Muer
My name is Anthony (Tony) Muer. I feel blessed to say that I have enjoyed a truly lifelong love and amazing memories in the Diamond Park community. My mother Louise told me that she first felt life while lying in the sand of beautiful Green Lake. My grandmother Anna acquired our family cottage from her sister Elsie Conkey who had the then, guest house built in 1949 by Fred Braden and his father Fred Sr. My wife Kathleen (Kitty) and I began enjoying permanent residency in beautiful N.W. Michigan on Griffin Ave. In 2019.I feel honored to serve on the DPPOA. Board and hope, with increased transparency, communication and involvement to foster the unique history, tranquility and love of our caring community with neighbors, visitors and especially the young, who are just beginning to experience their memories of our little piece of Heaven.

Zlatko Malovic

Annabelle Kerr
I first began spending summers at Interlochen in 1985 when I attended the National Music Camp. I immediately fell in love with Northern Michigan. My family is happy to be a part of the Diamond Park community and appreciate getting to spend time with our neighbors, including the many generations of their families. It is my honor to serve this community and I look forward to many more happy years in the neighborhood.
